In March 2016, The Association of Plumbing and Heating Contractors (APHC) will be hosting free technical workshops to be held at various locations across England and Wales.
Commencing at 08:45am through to 12:00 noon, the topics will cover:
How can we improve Building Regulations Enforcement in the Plumbing and Heating Industry?
Do you have opinions on the way Building Regulations is currently enforced in the Plumbing and Heating Industry? Yes, I hear you say? This FREE technical workshop is your chance to come along and express your feelings, suggest new solutions and help your trade association in conjunction with other industry leaders to propose a new way to enforce Building Regulations going forward and really shape the future of the plumbing and heating industry.
Consultation on the Plumbing and Heating Technician Apprenticeship
What do you think of the new Apprenticeship Standard? Have ideas to shape it? This FREE technical workshop is your chance to hear direct from industry leaders about the new Apprenticeship Standard proposal, including the content and objectives of the proposed new End Assessment. Plus, we’d like to hear your views on the different ways that candidates will be assessed so they emerge from the apprenticeships with sufficient practical training and knowledge to prove that they are work ready rather than requiring further training. So please join this technical workshop and tell us your view.
