INTRODUCTION OF NEW DOORSTEP SELLING REGULATIONS

The Cancellation of Contracts Made in a Consumer’s Home or Place of Work etc. Regulations 2008 (commonly known as the Doorstep Selling Regulations) are being introduced on the 1st October 2008. These regulations will affect the contractual arrangements between APHC member companies and their clients, it is therefore imperative that member companies understand the requirements of this new legislation. To assist member companies, APHC has produced a new fast fact sheet (BLS 14) which is available in the fast fact sheet section in the members area of the website. A hard copy version of the fast fact sheet has this evening been posted to all members for their information.
