TRAINING GRANTS RENEWED FOR 2012
The Association of Plumbing & Heating Contractors’ sister company APHC Training Ltd, a registered charity, has revealed that it will be introducing a new grant funding scheme for 2012.
Building on the success of its 2011 scheme, APHC Training will fund plumbing and heating companies who wish to keep an existing qualified employee up to date on their training. Companies who received grants in 2011 will be able to apply again in 2012 for the £60 grant.
Hundreds of companies came forward during 2011 to claim their £60 grant towards training on selected courses.
John Thompson, Chief Executive of APHC, commented:
“The £60 grant is available to all bona fide plumbing and heating companies who wish to train an employee to continue their professional development. Many companies, members and non-members alike, have taken the grant in 2011 and been glad of the contribution in these challenging times.”
Any interested companies, both members and non-members, should email email@example.com, putting ‘Training Grant’ in the subject line. They will be sent a form to fill in, which also details the scheme’s operating conditions. After they have completed a course (which must be done by the end of 2012), applicants send a copy of their invoice from the training provider along with their certificate of successful completion of the course, and APHC will put the £60 straight into their business bank account.
