APHC ENGAGES LAW FIRM TO ADVISE MEMBERSMembers of the Association of Plumbing & Heating Contractors now have access to specialist business and expert consumer legal advice seven days a week after the Association signed a deal with national law firm Access Legal from Shoosmiths.
"Being faced with a legal or employment issue can not only be a distraction but it can cost our members time and money," says John Thompson, Chief Executive of APHC. "This legal and business helpline provides members with clear, practical and easily understood advice whenever they need it. We have also recognised the fact that our members dont always work conventional hours so we have increased access to the advice line to seven days a week.
"The helpline is confidential and no details of the calls received or the advice given will be disclosed to any other party. Members might call for advice on issues such as: the terms of a contract and contractual disputes, the sale and supply of goods and services disputes, implementing complaint procedures to help prevent employment tribunal claims, advice on employee appointments, part time and flexible working, unfair dismissal, redundancy, tax and much more.Access Legal from Shoosmiths Sara Hunt said: "Were delighted to be able to provide this service to APHC members.
Theyll receive only the best quality advice from specialists in their field who have many years experience and who know exactly how best to approach and handle a wide range of issues. "Im confident APHC members will be reassured knowing top level advice is just a "˜phone call away, and from a national law firm with a 165-year history. Members will be able to get consumer legal advice too, should they need it."
