The European Commission is calling upon Small and Medium businesses to help identify the top ten EU Legislative acts considered to be the most burdensome from them in a new consultation launched earlier this week.
The consultation will run until the 21st December and once complete the commission will analyse the results and consider how the situation for SMEs can be improved. Some example areas for consideration include, Employment & Social Affairs, Energy, Environment and Taxation.

This consultation forms part of a larger project “Think Small First” aimed at simplifying the regulatory and administration environment SMEs are operating in by designing rules according to this principle.
