APHC has cautiously welcomed the recently published government response to the Green Deal consultation and the next steps announcement made on Monday.
The DECC announcement included details from the government response document to the November 2011 Green Deal consultation exercise, and further details on the next steps to moving the green deal scheme towards its operational phase in October.
Esther Purvey, Commercial Manager APHC commented: “APHC is concerned at some of the government response proposals put forward in relation to the overall operation of the scheme but do welcome the announcement that Green Deal will be subject to full systems testing. We are also satisfied that the government has confirmed the next steps of the scheme ending weeks of speculation as to its potential go live date. We remain cautious about the scheme until more firm details are announced.”
